Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: a Sign in with Apple identifier. We never see your password, and we support Apple's private email relay — we do not require your real email.
• Care records you create: events (feeding, potty, walks, sleep), tasks, socialization notes, weekly weights, and optional notes. Photos you attach stay on your phone and are not uploaded to our servers.
• Household membership: who you invite and their role. Temporary helpers' access expires automatically.
• Usage analytics: event names with bucketed, enumerated properties only. Our analytics layer enforces — in code, with tests — that free text, email addresses, and identifiers are never recorded.

What we deliberately do not collect

• Location. The app never requests location permission. Walks are timed, not tracked.
• Photos. Photos you attach to a task or event are stored only on your device; we never receive them or their metadata.
• AI conversations. Smart Log sentences and coach questions are processed on your device (Apple on-device models where available) and are not sent to our servers or used for training. We record only which engine answered and how long it took.

Where your data lives

Care records sync through our servers (Supabase, US) so your household sees one shared timeline. Records are visible only to active members of your household, enforced server-side on every request. Photos never leave your phone.

Deletion

You can delete your account entirely inside the app (Profile → Delete account). Access is revoked immediately; your account, records and household membership are deleted from our servers at that moment, and the app removes its data and photos from your phone. In every case deletion completes within 30 days. Minimal transaction records required for financial compliance are retained separately as described here.

Subscriptions

Payments are processed by Apple. We receive transaction status (never card details) to activate your household's Plus features.

Children

Puppy Routine is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
